Harvesting Again

I picked up some more vegetables today:  the cabbage, some more squashes, cucumbers and one funny looking kohlrabi.

It has got 'babies' on the base of the leaves. Very odd. There will be lots of climbing beans as well, Only, the construction fell down onto the ground and it is too heavy to lift it up again. I will just let them be. Nothing really happened, they are full of flowers.

My fight against the box tree moth seems to be successful. I have noticed the new foliage growth.

Now is the time to gave the bushes the last trim and I will spray them again after that. I hate using chemicals but there is no other way to solve the problem.
Unfortunately, the bushes in the town park look like this - completely defoliated.

  1. I'm glad you are winning the battle against the Box Tree Moth! The kohlrabi must be the variety called "Chernobyl"! :)

  2. The kohlrabi is odd. I wonder how big the babies would grow if you left them?
